THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all of you who came to celebrate with us last night. This party was a great success because of your beautiful energy!
Special thanks to Cuatro Suyos Restaurant for the delicious Peruvian food (it was so good that people finished it in no time!) Carmen Edith Freeze and Pachacamak Folk Dance for dancing for us and for the meaningful Inti Raymi ceremony we performed. It really touched my heart ♥ ( BTW, the beautiful outfit I was wearing is from the region of Otavalo in Ecuador).
Also, many many thanks to Gerardo Chalco for his beautiful music from the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, and to Guitarra Cajón Zampoña for his outstanding Peruvian Andean music. You put people to dance Andean style!. And of course, to my band NuBambu for their super cool and original Rumba-Reggae music.
Last but not least, I want to give a big shout out to Nilo Alvarado, “the projector man”, to Marcin Gamza (photographer) and to Arthur Gutnov from One Bedroom Productions for covering the event. Can’t wait to see what you captured for posterity 🙂
The next party is scheduled for Thursday July 12. The theme this time is “Pan-American Independence Party” . We will celebrate
the Independence day of Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela with a very special guest: Hispano-Peruvian Musician Miki Gonzalez, known for his unique fusion of rock and Afro-Peruvian rhythms. His career spans over 30 years of rock, pop, and electronic music.
See you at the next party! 🙂
