This dance flashmob was organized in record time: less than one week. The objective was to celebrate Peru’s National Day of Criolla Music (Día de la Canción Criolla) that is celebrated every October 31st, and to promote Afro-Peruvian culture, music and dance.
In addition to Peruvian dancers, we had dancers from Africaribe (Puerto Rico), Estampa Colombiana, Passistas Samba Group (Brazil), collaborating in this project.
The video was retweeted by TV PERU, and PERU 21 News wrote a story about it.
